4TH ASIA PACIFIC MERDEKA INDOOR BOWLS |
The 4th Asia Pacific Merdeka Indoor Bowls Championship 2009 organised by the Malaysian Lawn Bowls Federation was held at the Bayuemas Indoor Bowls Complex from the 1 to 5 August 09 in Klang, Malaysia.
A total of 12 countries participated in the Championships. Bowls Singapore submitted two teams to compete in the singles, mixed pairs and mixed triples. Our mixed pairs of Chia Tee Chiak and Leng Li Li emerged 3rd in the mixed pairs event. Tun Ahmad Sarji, President of the Malaysian Lawn Bowls Federation gave away the prizes to the winners and the exchange of gifts with Mr Sebastian Tan, President of Bowls Singapore.
