Singapore Bowls Annual Carnival 2009 |

Singapore Bowls Annual Carnival cum Prize Presentation Ceremony was held on Sun, 11 Jan 09 from 8.30am to 3.30pm at the Kallang Lawn Bowls Green.
The Carnival started at 9.00am. There were two spider games and 3 sets of 7 ends series played by 34 bowlers. The Prize presentation was held at 1.30pm followed by lunch. Prizes were presented to the winners of last year 's National Championships by the President of Bowls Singapore, Mr Sebastian Tan.
The Bowlers of the Year 's Awards for men and ladies were won by Mr Chia Tee Chiak and Leng Li Li , both from Singapore Power Club respecitvely.

7th Asian Lawn Bowls Championship 2008 |

The 7th Asian Lawn Bowls Championship 2008 was held from 29 Oct 2008 to 9 Nov 08 in Shenzhen, China.
10 Asian countries participated in the championship organized by the Chinese Multi Bowls Association at the Bijiashan Park in Shenzhen, China. The countries were Brunei, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.
Bowls Singapore participated in both the Men and Ladies events unfortunately we do not have the service of the Youth U25 to participate in the U25 Men and Ladies’ singles.
Our Men’s Triples of Tan Kah Hock, Bernard Foo and Pang Heng Heck emerged Joint 3rd with the Thailand. We lost to China in the semi-finals.
